For the first time since Ben and i have been married i got to go with him up to Logan/Preston for the 4Th,,,, we had so much fun.. We got up early Thursday morning because Ben was a little excited to go on a ride on his new motorcycle... I have to say i pushed him to get it cause i was sick of hearing about it and now it gives me severe trauma when he rides it, especially when he rode it home from Logan on Sunday. But he's been riding a motorcycle since he was six so i guess i should just relax, so while he was off riding and cleaning it i went to lunch with my mom and kyli and then kyli and i went shopping which is always fun .

We had the Jensen family reunion on Friday night which turned out to be the girls hiking to the spring at with the kids to show then where the water came out of the mountain. while all the boys went out on a motorcycle ride. the next day we had the smith family reunion, we had a big BBQ and watched the kids play on the water slide while the adults ate and talked It was the first time ever that the whole family has been together, it was lots of fun and i wished that my stupid allergies hadn't ruined it... Sunday we hung out with my family before heading home.. It was a fun weekend with the our families and friends...

about two weeks ago we decided to get out of Salt Lake and head down to St. George for the weekend,,, we had so much fun hanging out with our family.. we lucked out and it turned out to be the weekend that Lisa, Brent, and Kyli were all down.. We got down there Friday night and went to dinner with Lisa, Brent, Casi, Kyli, and my grandpa at Texas road house where i found my most favorite drink, their cherry limeade is the best drink ever.. Saturday Kyli, Ben and I went to pizza factory for kyli's favorite bread twists then Ben dropped us off at the outlets for a little shopping while Ben went to look at a motorcycle that he had been thinking about buying,,, When he came back to get us i convinced him that i needed some baby clothes from gymboree.. he thought i was being dumb since we still don't know what we're having but i got them anyway.. after our shopping we headed back to the hotel to do a little swimming and i was shocked when Ben came out to swim with kyli and i.. he hates to swim and i think i have only seen him in a pool 4 or 5 times the entire time i have known him, so i was very excited..that night we went out to dinner at past factory,, (if you can't tell we like to eat) with Jena and Kamdyn and Casi and kyli. then us and Casi went and saw the love guru, it was pretty funny... Sunday we went and hung out with my grandpa before heading home,.., we had lots of fun and I'm glad we got a quick trip in before Ben takes the Bar.

We got to go up to Logan for fathers day and spend it with my dad... We had so much fun hanging out with both our families.. on Sunday we went to Preston to hang out with Ben's family because it was my sister in law Penny's birthday, we had the best food, my mother in law made prime rib and then we had the best cold stone cheesecake ice cream cake... after that we headed back down to my parents to give my dad the present from all the kids. Jess graced us with his presence for the first time all weekend and showed off his battle wounds from his lacrosse games in Park city then we had dinner with them an headed home.. I got in trouble for not getting Ben anything but i don't consider him a dad yet so oh well or oops on my part, he did get lots of texts telling him happy fathers day, so that covered me i think..

The first baby purchase..

Last night i went to dinner with friend Carly at the Gateway.. Last time i was there i had found a bag that i loved and wanted to get for a diaper bag, well Ben thought i was retarded for wanting to buy it now since we have so long till the baby comes. So i didn't get it. I was hoping that Jena would give me her old bag but she doesn't love her so to be new niece or nephew enough to give it to me... RUDE Jena.... So yesterday i was showing it to Carly and she decided that she needed to buy the baby it's first present and there you have it... my favorite bag and the baby's first gift... Thanks Carly.....

Same old Same old

Well not much has been going on at the Jensen house hold.. Ben Got his grades back and did great in all the classes(even the class he never went to and the the class he only went to twice) so he's officially graduated. He's just started work on the bar review and is a little nervous but i know he will do great.

I went to the doctor today and everything is going good. I got to hear the heartbeat for the first time.. It made me feel so much better since last time they couldn't find it. so hopefully on our next appointment we will be able to find out what we are having which i am very excited about. And as promised Jena and Aubrey i will add a picture to this post later on so you can see my stomach. i don't know why you want to see it but i will put it up for you 2..

Well it's official,,, Ben has graduated from law school.. YEAH!!!!! Saturday our families met at Kingsbury Hall to watch Ben walk at graduation,, which i made him do but afterwards i heard him say he was glad he did it. The graduation was taking forever thanks to Mayor Becker and we were all getting a little on edge to have it end but it was still awesome.. After 3 LONG years i finally have my husband back. (don't worry Laura you're almost there.,. and Melanie good luck with the next 3) after the graduation we headed to eat before all the family headed home.. Thanks to everyone that came and to all those who didn't we missed you..

BABY UPDATE

OK sorry Jena and Aubrey but i still don't have a picture of me to put up here but i promise one is coming when there is something to see... Thursday i went to my first Doc appointment. everything went well and all of my test have come back with good levels. They were checking for a heart beat and couldn't find one- that gave me a lot of trauma- so we had to have an ultra sound but when we looked we had a baby, two legs two arms and from what the doc said it had the hiccups.. i got to see it's little heart beating and it was so amazing. everything looked great they said but I'm smaller then they thought so they dropped me back a week so I'm only 11 weeks instead of 12 but I'm alright with that.. thanks for all of you (Lisa and Jena) that have prayed for us and this baby, i know it has made a huge difference.

so i have been the worst blogger lately.. sorry Aubrey! i haven't had much to write about except being really sick and tired and VERY lonely as Ben has been finishing up finals this past two weeks.. but he is done and he graduates on Friday!!!! Finally!!!! more about that Friday.. but this past weekend we got to drive to Logan to watch Ben's brother Colby and his wife Penny graduate from Utah State.. what a fun day it was! Colby was the valedictorian of the Engineering college and was able to speak at there ceremony. he did a great job. Then we headed over to watch penny graduate in education.. she's going to be the best chemistry teacher ever.. Congrats you two....

it finally happen... after lots of looking and researching and color changes my parents have finally got a new car.. And not only are they not mad at Kyli for burning the old one to the ground, but my dad keeps telling her thank because now they get to drive their beautiful accord and pilot around.. i have to say i am very jealous and i think i will try and convince Ben we need to lease a new car or maybe i should say truck so i might happen before the baby comes... ( it will never happen but I'll try) ... yeah for may parents and kyli they deserve it...

We're having a BABY....

I'm a little scared to make this announcement with my history and my lovely medical issues but oh well i guess, I'll be brave and do it any way.. YES I"M PREGNANT.... We found out the end of march and I'm about 9 weeks and due the end of November. I'm so very excited and i think Ben is to??? who knows with boys.

Wedding Tag... 1. What Date is your anniversary? December 22.. We got married on a Thursday, I thought it would make the temple less busy... guess i was wrong

2. Where Did you get married? We got married in the Salt Lake Temple... Had to carry on the tradition.. 3. Who proposed and how? Ben proposed... He totally surprised me which is my favorite part about the whole thing. He took me up to his families land in Idaho, it's back up in the mountains and told me we had to turn on water so the pipes wouldn't burst from the freezing weather.. he was so calm that i really had no clue. We walked from one side of the fenced off area and back to the middle. all we had was the lights from the truck and it was raining... What can i say my boy can be romantic when he wants to be!!! 4. How long were you engaged? We were engaged for 2 1/2 months


5. What was your favorite part of your wedding day? (and it can't be your husband) I would have to say have all the family come that did.. and my flowers and my cake.. I loved them.


6. What would you change if you could? I would have taken Ben's back problems away... they sure would have made the day so much better had he been able to walk and stand with our pain.

8. Remember anything special from your ceremony? Any good advice? A comical moment? I remember being told to turn to each other and to god and not outside sources. Elder Carmack, the guy who sealed us was one of Ben's Mission presidents, as we were walking out of the sealing room after the ceremony he stepped on the back of my dress and ripped of the button that what holding the train up... the one my mom spent like 2 hours putting on...



9. Were you clean or messy when you cut your cake? (Did you shove it in each others mouths and get it all over your face? Yes/No?) well i promised that i would be nice. it was the only way he would agree to cut the cake, but i wasn't. it didn't get very messy though... stupid hard frosting.




10. Where did you go on your honeymoon? Well since we got married 3 days before Christmas and 6 days before Ben's back surgery we didn't really have one, we stayed at Sherwood hills the first night and then went down to SLC and Orem the next 2 days and then came back for Christmas with the family.

11. How long have you been married now?2 years and 3 months and a few days...
