Santa Claus Came to Town..

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone. Christmas is so much better with kids, even though Hadley doesn't understand whats going on we got a few excited reactions when she saw a few of her presents.... Our Christmas break started out with a visit from Aunt Kyli YEAH!!!! Kyli came down Monday and hung out with us till we went home Christmas Eve. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at my parents and then Christmas day at Ben's mom's... We have the best families and are so lucky to be able to spend time with them... Saturday before heading home i got to go to lunch with friends from High School... So much fun and few of them i haven't seen in forever...I can't wait till next year and now on to New Years!!!! Hope everyone had as great of a Christmas as we did!!!!!!

Oh how i love this

This is one of the best parts of my day.. I love seeing Ben with Hadley and i love that she loves to read so when you put those two things together there really isn't anything better...

i just have to remember this cause i love it.. today after getting Hadley up from her morning nap i walked into my room and waited for her to follow so i could get her dresses, she wasn't coming so i yelled to her to see if she was in her room or the hallway, then what do i hear....

she was sitting at the top of the stairs yelling down to see if Ben was there.. I love it!!! I love that she loves her dad and gets so excited when she sees him and that she has to call her him whenever she can't see him to make sure he's around
now if she'd just learn to say mom all would be right with the world...

Thankful for..

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite Holidays,,, i LOVE the food and this year we had 2 thanksgiving dinners... well more like a late lunch and a late dinner.... We stayed in Preston with Ben's mom and had our first Thanksgiving feast with Ben's family and then headed to my parents for our late 2ND feast... i love being there with my family... Every year at my parents before we eat we always say what we are thankful for but i guess this year we got a little sidetracked till my sweetest most tender hearted little Max said that we should go around the table and say what we were thankful for.. How i love my nephew (and nieces) and I'm glad that i live close to them to see them...

Hadley's Big birthday

Here's how we spent hadleys first birthday,,, nothing to exciting... But it was fun to see her excited about her books. It was funny how she cried when i put her hand in the cake and then decided it was ok...

Look Who's 1 !!!!!!!

I CAN'T believe that my little girl is 1 today. i feel like we just brought her home. She is such a joy in our lives and i don't know what we would do with out her.... here are a few things that Hadley's doing these days and look back on the past year...

I Heart NYC

I do Heart NYC (but not its weather) and Hadley and i were lucky enough to tag along with Ben last week as he headed there for a conference. We had so much fun with the few things we got to do and were sad we missed out on so much other fun stuff cause of the dumb weather. Our hotel we right up the street from Time Square and right down from Central Park so we had lots to do. Hadley had so much fun making new friends with EVERY person she met EVERY where we went, she has a way with people and everyone just wants to talk to her and she eats it up. We even had some random street vendor stop us and say- she's beautiful, God bless her- how i love my little peanut and her big personality..this was Hadley' first time on an airplane and she did great except the last 20 minutes of the last flight both there and back... she was so done with flying... i can't wait to go back when the weather is better and Ben has more time to do all the things we didn't get to do...

This past week before we went to New York we got Family pictures done.. I love the way they turned out and i can't wait to get the disc.. I can't believe my baby is so big!! Thank you SO much Melissa you're the best!!!

For Halloween we headed to Logan. We got there Friday night and went to dinner with some of Ben's friends. then we went to my parents house where Hadley decided she was a drummer,.. how we love papa and his toys... Saturday we had lots of people to visit and so we headed off so they could all see Hadley in her costume. We went to Ben's grandma Jensen's first, she watches a little boy names Wyatt and he just loved Hadley, all he wanted to do was pick her up and give her hugs. Then we went to Rose's cause Andrea was there and Hadley played with her cousins. Last we drove up to Preston so Ben's mom could see her.. Hadley loved pulling all the candy out of grandma's candy bowl and throwing it everywhere,, It was a fun night and i can't wait till next year...
