We're having a BABY....

I'm a little scared to make this announcement with my history and my lovely medical issues but oh well i guess, I'll be brave and do it any way.. YES I"M PREGNANT.... We found out the end of march and I'm about 9 weeks and due the end of November. I'm so very excited and i think Ben is to??? who knows with boys.

I've Been Tagged Once Again......

Wedding Tag... 1. What Date is your anniversary? December 22.. We got married on a Thursday, I thought it would make the temple less busy... guess i was wrong

2. Where Did you get married? We got married in the Salt Lake Temple... Had to carry on the tradition.. 3. Who proposed and how? Ben proposed... He totally surprised me which is my favorite part about the whole thing. He took me up to his families land in Idaho, it's back up in the mountains and told me we had to turn on water so the pipes wouldn't burst from the freezing weather.. he was so calm that i really had no clue. We walked from one side of the fenced off area and back to the middle. all we had was the lights from the truck and it was raining... What can i say my boy can be romantic when he wants to be!!! 4. How long were you engaged? We were engaged for 2 1/2 months


5. What was your favorite part of your wedding day? (and it can't be your husband) I would have to say have all the family come that did.. and my flowers and my cake.. I loved them.


6. What would you change if you could? I would have taken Ben's back problems away... they sure would have made the day so much better had he been able to walk and stand with our pain.

8. Remember anything special from your ceremony? Any good advice? A comical moment? I remember being told to turn to each other and to god and not outside sources. Elder Carmack, the guy who sealed us was one of Ben's Mission presidents, as we were walking out of the sealing room after the ceremony he stepped on the back of my dress and ripped of the button that what holding the train up... the one my mom spent like 2 hours putting on...



9. Were you clean or messy when you cut your cake? (Did you shove it in each others mouths and get it all over your face? Yes/No?) well i promised that i would be nice. it was the only way he would agree to cut the cake, but i wasn't. it didn't get very messy though... stupid hard frosting.




10. Where did you go on your honeymoon? Well since we got married 3 days before Christmas and 6 days before Ben's back surgery we didn't really have one, we stayed at Sherwood hills the first night and then went down to SLC and Orem the next 2 days and then came back for Christmas with the family.

11. How long have you been married now?2 years and 3 months and a few days...

Last night my friend Carly and I were able to go to the Jazz game thanks to my best brother in law Brent.. he had tickets and didn't want to go so we took them for some girls night out fun.. Carly just had some "surgery" done and is still a little drugged up so her mom and sister were nice enough to drive her down to gateway and they joined us at the only place we eat when we come to the gateway., CPK.... aft that they headed to a movie and we headed to the game.. We walked in to find people in our seats so we got to watch them get kicked out which was fun and then we got to watch the guy and girl in front of us getting drunk,, good times... The Jazz dancers did a little dance with some grandpa's after the first quarter and it was so funny... I wish i had been closer to get pictures of the old men they were hilarious.. we left a little early to meet up with Carly's fam after the movie and since the were beating the Bobcats 80 something to 60 something we figured we would miss much... Our dedication to the team did get questioned by the door guy when we told him we were leaving but that's OK.... Thanks for coming Carly...

HAPPY Easter,,,,

Well this should be a fun post since i have NO pictures from our Easter in Logan. Thanks to the fact that i left my camera every time we went and did anything But it was fun anyways... Saturday we headed over to Ben's sister Rose's house for a family BBQ and Easter egg hunt, it was fun to see the kids get all there eggs. Rose had bought pre stuffed egg and they had war heads in them so we spent the next hour or so getting all the kids to try them so we could see there faces... they all spit them out except Olivia, she was determined to show u all how tough she was. That night the Jensen girls went to dinner at Costa Vida and then to see 27 Dresses it was so very fun, we never get to do stuff with just the girls and with no kids so i think it will become a tradition. Sunday we went up to Riverdale to see Ben's grandpa, he hasn't been doing so well and the doctors just found another blood clot and decided to leave it because it would be less painful for him. Ben's Aunt, uncle, and all there kids came down from Seattle to visit and i finally after 3 years of being with Ben have met all the family... After that we headed back to Smithfield to go to church with my family but not before Ben got pulled over in Preston... luckily we had a nice cop that gave him a warning.. after church we had family dinner at my parents house and i helped my mom make our bunny cake... Then came the dreaded time to head home so we could return to work and school... i wish i could go on vacation forever.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY CONLI SUE!!!

3 years ago today one of my favorite girls came in to this world.. Oh how i Love My Conner's. I love that we get to spend time with her when ever we want and see her all the time and i love to have her over for our little sleep overs. Even if that means we have to go buy her doughnuts, because she come to the conclusion that when she's here she gets doughnuts... she is the cutest and smartest little princess i know.. I love you Conli Sue have a happy Birthday...

The night of Guitar Hero

K last Saturday we were lucky enough to have Casi come down and hang out. Casi just moved back from Baton Rouge so we had to have a big party... It started with Jess ditching us to go with Tara... Jerk... So Ben, Casi, and I headed to Mimi's Cafe for dinner... We had so much fun thanks to Ben. He ate some sauce that was a little to hot for him and Cas and I almost peed our pants from laughing so hard. Then he and Casi were so disappointed when Ben forgot his to go box with the yummy bread and Ben's muffin and the butter Casi had stole... Casi and I had bought guitar hero for our Wii on Friday and decided that we would keep it so headed home to get it out. When we got there Jess called to tell me he was going to come get Casi., i told him he didn't have to and that we were playing the Guitar hero so of course he had to come play to. So at like 11:00 him and Tara showed up to play and it began... we were up till like 2:30 playing... Jess is the King !!! he rules and I'm not to bad. But Casi. Wow there are no words.. We'll just leave it at she got boo'd off the stage twice. Ben did want to get showed up so he wouldn't play, party pooper!!! What a fun night i had with my family. I'm so glad Casi is back so we get to hang out more!!! Love you Casi.. Can't wait for our second weekend of family guitar hero!!!!!!

Engagement Story Tag....

Megan had this Tag on her blog and i thought it sounded like fun. the only rule is you have to post a picture of your wedding ring with the tag..

I copied Megan on this picture because it was so cute and i love my conlie's little feet...

so here we go.... Ben and i had been dating for about a year and had been talking about getting married for about 2 months and we had gone and looked at rings and i found the one that i wanted. Ben had been being a little weird when i would bring up the ring but i just figured it was him being scared. He came up from SLC the first weekend of October to visit and i didn't think that was abnormal at all. We'd been doing the weekend comute to and from SLC since he moved in August. I had got off work about 3 that Saturday and he was suppose to meet me in Logan so i could go to the mall after i got off.. He was running late (as usual) so i called him to see where he was and he told me he was driving from Preston and was stuck in construction or something and would be there soon. So i went to the mall and walked around FOREVER, I called him again to see where he was and he told me he was just getting into Smithfield, little did i know that he was sitting on my couch with my parents getting permission to ask me to marry him. I walked around a little more and then he finally showed up and informed me that we had to go up to there family farm to turn on the water because it was suppose to freeze that night,, made sense to me so i didn't think anything of it. On the way up i asked about the ring as i had been since we looked at it, he told me he didn't like that ring and we needed to go find another one but of course he didn't want to go this weekend. I was annoyed but dropped it. It was raining when we got up to Gold Hill and as we were getting out he was fumbling with something in the back seat. I was totally oblivious to the whole thing all i wanted to do was turn the water on and leave.. We got out and Ben walk from one corner of the fence and then back to the middle with me following right behind him and stopped. I couldn't figure out what he was doing and honestly i was getting really annoyed, it was cold and i wanted to get back in the truck. He stared at me for a bit and then i realized what was going on... I was completely shocked... He was so cute and i was so excited that i couldn't even speak, then he popped the question... I was on cloud nine, so much that i even forgot to call my parents and tell them the news, even though they already knew what had happened....





I love my husband more then anything in this world and am so grateful that i got to marry him...

Presidents Day St. George Trip

So this past weekend we were lucky enough to go to St. George for the Pres. weekend with my brother in law Clayton and my bro and sis in law Colby and Penny. We didn't have any big plans other then getting out of the snow, the weather was so nice and i didn't want to come home. We lucked out when Ben's uncle Paul pretty much forced us to stay at his house instead of the 2 hotels Ben booked for us in Springdale and Mesquite.. THANK HEAVENS!!!!! we spent so much time with them just talking it was really fun.. The day we got there i made them go to pasta factory because it is my favorite and i have to eat there when i go down. As you can tell from the pictures ben had a little to much fun with the birds that were flying in and out picking up food off the ground,,, what can i say he is easily entertained... after we ate penny and i went shopping at the outlets while the boys went rock climbing, when they came to pick us up some idiot wasn't looking and backed right into the car.. Oh the drama... After that we just ate and relaxed... it was fun to get away with my fam.. we need to do it more often...

FIRE!!!!!!!

What an eventful night, we got to Logan tonight and were hangin out with my parents. Watching a little TV and chatting when my dad got a phone call from my little sister Kyli.THE CARS ON FIRE!! What, Huh????? The cars on fire, we tried to use an extinguisher it didn't work, and the fire deparetment are on there way. Kyli was so scared that my parents would be mad.My dad just kind of laughed until he realized his coat and Doobie Brothers tape was in there and my mom just headed to the bedroom to find the insurance papers. We received a few more calls from Kyli and then Ben, My dad, and me head up to look at kyli's handiwork... We were greeted by about 15 cars, lots of firefighter and a few police. WOW when Kyli does something she does it all the way.,, there went brand new tires and a full tank of gas. But the good thing is that no one was hurt,,, hope you injoy the photo's,,, we'll just look at it as a chance for the parents to buy a new car.. YEAH!!!!

Conli's Cookies

I'm so lucky that i live so close to my nieces and nephew and can hang out with them when ever i want. Last Thursday Lisa and Brent went to dinner with some friends and i got to babysit the kiddies... We had a whole night planned. Max has been wanting to play our Wii since he found out we had one so that's how we started off the night, then there was the doughnuts that Conli has to have whenever she's at my house. I don't where she got that when she comes there are supposed to be doughnuts but she has cried the times there hasn't been any. I had told them we could make sugar cookies that night too, so i had made the cookies and just needed to make the frosting but they wanted to wait till Ben got home from school so while they waited we turned on the movie Witches, i wasn't to sure how they who'd handle it but they ended up liking it. Lisa and Brent came back early so we didn't get a chance to make the cookies. Max was so sad so we let him sleep over. So Saturday i took them some cookie kits and let them make there cookies. I love my Max, Conli, and Sawyer and am so glad i can spend time with them whenever i want... I wouldn't want it any other way...
