Moving all the time

So Hadley is moving all the time, she spins herself around and rolls from side to side. She's not a big fan of rolling over, she must be over it cause she first started doing it when she was a month and a half old (thanks Darla) so it must not fun for her anymore. but today she took it to a whole new level. She's a little impatient when i get ready in the mornings, she wants me to hold her so she can look in the mirror but since that doesn't really help me get ready faster i have started laying her on the counter next to me. i promise I'm not a bad mom i watch her and usually am standing in front of her so she can't go anywhere even though she never does. Well today i moved over to grab a brush and to my surprise my little miss decided to try and roll off the counter..... i caught her but it scared the crap out of me, she on the other hand thought it was quite funny and started to laugh. that is her other new thing- laughing. its to funny to hear her laugh... she's getting so big and i love watching her change every day,,, and today in honor of st. Patrick's day i wanted her to wear green, well i don't have a green bow but i do have a green clip so here is Hadley's first half pony tail...... and some just because my babies cute

today we had the maintenance people come to change our filters and then i found out they were putting insulation in our attic so i wanted to to take Hadley out for a walk instead of staying inside with the smell. But oops i left the stroller in the car and Ben had the car and was on his way to Logan for court...But because of Ben's Aunt and uncle we had a lovely box in the garage with this inside......
to bad by the time i got it put together they were done and gone and Hadley needed a nap... i can't wait for it to get warm so we can start using it,,,, We LOVE it.. thanks Paul and Corrine

Lack of camera = Lack of blogging

well it's been about 2 weeks and we are still without a camera. I think Ben finally got i last night when Hadley was smiling and talking like crazy and we didn't have a camera to capture it. Although the video is now working again on the camera the pictures still go red. So Ben spent the better part of yesterday and last night finding us one. I really like the one he picked the only bad things is that it's new and hasn't come out yet and doesn't tell you a specific release date it just says March of 2009... so lets hope that it comes quickly.. but here's the last pictures and a new video i got before our power shot died...

Hadley's Blessing

This past weekend we headed up north to Bless Hadley... We decided to do it in m parents ward so Ben's grandpa could be there, it was awesome!!! Ben did a great job, he gave the sweetest blessing to our little peanut..(even with Hadley screaming) she's a lucky girl to have a daddy that loves her like Ben does. We are so blessed to have this sweet little girl in our family, she has made our lives so much better... Thank you to all the family that came...... and a very BIG thank you to my mom and Lisa for all there help with the food and set up. I'm taking pictures from Lisa's blog cause she was the official photographer since 3 days before my camera decided to die on me.. i will add more later after Lisa's sends them to me

The Miracle of Sleep

My little miss Hadley started out life such a great sleeper.. by 6 weeks old she was sleeping through the night and out of our room... well then something happen and my sweet baby turned into a monster.. She started not falling asleep till 3 or staying up till 4-5 or waking up at 5 after falling asleep at 2 and not going back to bed.. Every time we went anywhere she would be up crying,, (sorry Jena and Derek).... she was exhausted and her mom and dad were exhausted..

Well the last few weeks my good little girl is back. we've been going to bed every night at the same time and she has gone from waking up 3 times a night down to 1 and sleeping in till 8 or 9.. even though she is back in our room her mommy so very happy, since sleep is one of the big issues with my epilepsy..

i just want to say thanks to Ben,,, he is the best Husband any girl could ask for. he's right there every night willing to do anything and stay up however long i need him to even though he has to get up and go to work..

So cross your fingers that Hadley keeps on this schedule or we won't be going anywhere ever again.

not Much Going On

Well we haven't had much going on other then playing at home and going to Logan and St. George which Hadley is now grounded from doing... Sorry family she won't be coming to visit you any time soon. she's still not feeling well from all the traveling and now is a terrible sleeper. that makes her mommy and daddy very frustrated and makes her Mommy very exhausted..but we love her anyways. So here are a few pictures from the last few weeks..

Hadley has a love hate relationship with blankets. 9 times out of 10 she kicks all her blankets off but this day she loved it so much she covered her whole body and fell asleep

my daughter is not an accessories baby.. she hates bow and apparently leggins too... to bad she has to wear them anyways

her hair is getting so long.. so we tried a clip today and even got a little pig tail the other day...

Growing so fast..

i can't believe my little Hadley is already 2 months old.... she is growing so fast and getting so big.. On Sunday we were at my sister Jena's and we weighed Hadley and she already weighs 10 lbs.. I couldn't believe it... here are a few things we've learned about Her in the little time she's been here

1. she loves to sleep on her daddy's chest.. (he loves it too)

2. she HATES having her hands down, especially when she sleeps

3. she loves to sit in her bouncer as long as someones there to talk to her

4. she HATES bows and hats, she cries every time i put one on her.. (to bad for her)

5. she loves to suck on her hands

6. she is a night owl.... 12 o'clock bedtime

7. she loves the tub. she splashes around the whole time shes in there

8. she doesn't like her car seat

9. she likes to be on the floor instead of being held

10. if shes held she like to face out so she can see

11. she loves holding on to shirts or fingers when she's sleeping

12. shes already very strong, standing up and holding her head up..

13. she hates waking up

14. she loves to smile.. and has the biggest and best smile

15. she loves to look at daddy and has to know where he is

16. she looks JUST like her dad

17. she is the noisiest sleeper (she gets that from her dad)

18. she makes the best faces in her sleep

19. she loves to be naked

20. when she's asleep she asleep you can't wake her up for anything. changing her clothes, moving her around, even changing her diaper won't wake her up.

Family photo Shoot

a couple weeks ago we went to get Hadley's pictures done and then decided to get a family shot to. Hadley did great. I had scheduled the appointment while she should have been asleep but she had other plans.. We got there and she decided to wake up right as we started taking pictures, but she only was crying in one shot and then just looked around for the rest. Even being stripped down her diaper she was a happy little girl... we love how they turned out, our baby girl is just to cute...

and on a little note-- Last night Hadley rolle over 4 times,,, thanks to darla for putting her on her tummy.... to crazy

this is how Hadley spent Christmas morning

Christmas was lots of fun this year. And having Hadley made it all that better, even though she has no idea what went on and was asleep through most of it, it was fun to have her there with the family. We got to Logan on Christmas eve and spent that night and Christmas morning with my family. Hadley's grandpa loves her just a little bit,,, he was holding her every chance he got and was mad when we took her away from him and was even willing to take a night shift position so Ben and i could get some sleep...Jena, Derek, and Kamdyn came up this year and it was so much fun. I love Kamdyn she has the cutest little voice and just talks all day long. We spent Christmas with Ben's family where we ate to much food and played lots of Mario cart and Guitar hero.. and where we almost didn't make it back to Smithfield because of all the snow.. The snow which made it impossible to get back down to SLC so Ben could go to work the next day, that was Ben's little Christmas miracle. So we ended up staying in Logan from Wednesday to Sunday,,, that was a little to long for me. We had 2 nights of Hadley staying up, Christmas eve she was up till 4 and Christmas night she was up till 5:30 but after that she was great.. we loved being up there and spending it with our families... we have the best family ever!!!!
