noise, noise, and more noise

Hadley has learned she has a voice and thinks she needs to make noises all the time.. I love hearing her jibber jabber all day long. here's a little video from this morning, that's when she is the loudest. right when she wakes up. I love walking into her room and seeing her big smiles and hearing her little noises as if she's telling me about her night.

Oh What An Easter

Well this Easter weekend didn't started out not so great. Ben's grandpa passed away on Saturday afternoon, it was and is really hard for Ben. His grandpa was like a dad to their family after his dad died. We were all there when it happened and he went very peacefully. . What a weekend for it to happen on,,, it made the resurrection so more important. The focus at Easter time is always bunnies, baskets, and egg hunts, so it was a much needed refocus on the true meaning of why we celebrate Easter..

Sunday we were at my parents for Easter which also happened to be Jess's birthday and the day before he left for West Virginia.. Ben went home Sunday night and i decided to stay up with Hadley since Ben would be back up today. We've been hanging out with Kyli, grandpa, and grandma while we wait for Ben to come back up... here are a few pictures of our Easter.

hadley's first Hair cut

Last night we were hanging out at Lisa's while Ben and Brent went to get Ben a fishing pole,, I've been saying for a very long time that Hadley needed a hair cut. Poor little girl has had a mullet since she was a month old but her daddy would not let me cut her hair. he loves her crazy hair, as do i ( well all but the mullet ) Lisa's neighbor Lindy came over to give Lisa her clippers so Lisa could shave Max's hair.. see Lindy does hair and i have asked her a thousand times to cut Hadley's hair but we never do it. i walked down to say hi to her and we were all admiring her little white trash hair when Lindy said she'd go get her scissors.... YEAH!!!!! we joked that if Ben came home she was to run as fast as she could but luckily he didn't get home till after. Lisa, Lindy, and I were sitting on the couch and Hadley was laying on the floor naked when Ben came up.. we were all looking at each other and laughing waiting to see if he'd realize but of course he didn't so Lisa had to clue him in by asking him what Lindy does for a living and then he got it.. he picked her and said that it looked good, lucky me, i wasn't sure how he was going to take it...

We FINALLY got our camera so i can get started on taking lots more pictures of little miss Hadley. It seems like she changes everyday and i love watching her grow... She loves to stand up and believe it or not she can do it on her own, for the most part, as long as she has a hand to hold or feels so sort of support she's fine. that's all she ever wants to do is stand. she's doing really good at eating and seems to like all the things we've given her baby food wise and grown up food... her daddy loves to let her taste some of the things hes eating. She's now starting to watch you eat and reaches for it so she can have some too... boring post i know i just have to write this stuff down so i can remember it..

*** i just have to say that Hadley really does get her hair done everyday, i was looking through pictures and in 98% of them she has crazy hair.. but what do you do when the second you put her down after doing her hair she rolls around like crazy person ??? ****

Whats going on

nothing much has been going on at the Jensen house. Hadley turned 4 months yahoo!!! i can't believe she's that old, she's growing so fast and changing so much. She had cereal for the first time last week and i thought we'd get a big reaction when she tried it.. nope nothing (she gets that from her dad) but the second night she screamed the second it touched her lips. So i love dinner time needless to say. She loves her hands and ALWAYS has them in her mouth which her dad hates. She's the craziest sleeper, when we get up to get her she is never in the same place as she started and loves to have the blanket over her head. She loves to stand, if her little legs would hold her up all day she'd stand all day, and if she's not standing she has to loves to sit but she has to sit straight up or she gets mad. She gets so excited when she sees her dad and just screeches and has the biggest smile on her face, it's my favorite thing she does....

Our camera finally was released and we got it ordered and it will be here Thursday!!! YEAH I'm so excited it's the coolest thing even though Ben had to buy it in black instead of red like i wanted.. boys...

Moving all the time

So Hadley is moving all the time, she spins herself around and rolls from side to side. She's not a big fan of rolling over, she must be over it cause she first started doing it when she was a month and a half old (thanks Darla) so it must not fun for her anymore. but today she took it to a whole new level. She's a little impatient when i get ready in the mornings, she wants me to hold her so she can look in the mirror but since that doesn't really help me get ready faster i have started laying her on the counter next to me. i promise I'm not a bad mom i watch her and usually am standing in front of her so she can't go anywhere even though she never does. Well today i moved over to grab a brush and to my surprise my little miss decided to try and roll off the counter..... i caught her but it scared the crap out of me, she on the other hand thought it was quite funny and started to laugh. that is her other new thing- laughing. its to funny to hear her laugh... she's getting so big and i love watching her change every day,,, and today in honor of st. Patrick's day i wanted her to wear green, well i don't have a green bow but i do have a green clip so here is Hadley's first half pony tail...... and some just because my babies cute

today we had the maintenance people come to change our filters and then i found out they were putting insulation in our attic so i wanted to to take Hadley out for a walk instead of staying inside with the smell. But oops i left the stroller in the car and Ben had the car and was on his way to Logan for court...But because of Ben's Aunt and uncle we had a lovely box in the garage with this inside......
to bad by the time i got it put together they were done and gone and Hadley needed a nap... i can't wait for it to get warm so we can start using it,,,, We LOVE it.. thanks Paul and Corrine

Lack of camera = Lack of blogging

well it's been about 2 weeks and we are still without a camera. I think Ben finally got i last night when Hadley was smiling and talking like crazy and we didn't have a camera to capture it. Although the video is now working again on the camera the pictures still go red. So Ben spent the better part of yesterday and last night finding us one. I really like the one he picked the only bad things is that it's new and hasn't come out yet and doesn't tell you a specific release date it just says March of 2009... so lets hope that it comes quickly.. but here's the last pictures and a new video i got before our power shot died...

Hadley's Blessing

This past weekend we headed up north to Bless Hadley... We decided to do it in m parents ward so Ben's grandpa could be there, it was awesome!!! Ben did a great job, he gave the sweetest blessing to our little peanut..(even with Hadley screaming) she's a lucky girl to have a daddy that loves her like Ben does. We are so blessed to have this sweet little girl in our family, she has made our lives so much better... Thank you to all the family that came...... and a very BIG thank you to my mom and Lisa for all there help with the food and set up. I'm taking pictures from Lisa's blog cause she was the official photographer since 3 days before my camera decided to die on me.. i will add more later after Lisa's sends them to me
